An update is now available in the Serverspace control panel for users hosting virtual servers on vStack in the Kazakhstan data center. The maximum internet bandwidth has been increased from 100 Mbps to 200 Mbps.
This means that projects hosted in the Kazakhstan data center can now operate with double the data transfer speed, which is especially valuable for resource-intensive tasks such as:
- Hosting high-traffic websites and online services
- Transferring and processing large volumes of data
- Running corporate applications that require a stable connection
What this means for users:
- Faster response times and website loading - especially for local clients in Kazakhstan and Central Asia
- Stable application performance during peak hours - fewer delays and timeouts
- Improved performance when working with databases, RDP, 1C and other corporate systems
- Flexibility for scalable projects - run applications with higher bandwidth demands
How to create a server with increased network speed:
- Go to the Serverspace control panel and click “Create Server” under the vStack Cloud section
- In the location list, select Almaty, Kazakhstan
- Configure your server: choose the number of vCPUs, RAM, and SSD size
- In the “Network Connections” field, set the bandwidth to up to 200 Mbps
- Complete the server creation - and start working with increased access speed
For current server owners in Kazakhstan:
If you’re already using a vStack server in the Kazakhstan data center, you can upgrade your server’s bandwidth to 200 Mbps at any time.
It only takes a few seconds:
- Open your server settings in the control panel
- Go to the "Connected Networks” section
- Click on “Change Bandwidth”
- Set the new bandwidth value
- Save changes - the speed will update automatically
Support for up to 200 Mbps is available for all configurations, with the same per-megabyte pricing as before — no changes to your existing network rates.
We’re continuing to make the Serverspace cloud faster and more convenient - stay tuned for more updates!
