Cloud provider Serverspace is expanding in the European region. The company has connected hardware to a new data center located in Turkey. Users nowcan order cloud servers based on the vStack virtualization platform in the advanced data center – Star of Bosphorus.
Star of Bosphorus is a modern data center designed with seismic-resistant construction technology. It is the first data center received international certification from the Uptime Institute Tier III Design & Resort. NGN, a global system integrator operating in the Middle East market, is the data center owner company.
Key features of Star of Bosphorus
- It is the first seismic-resistant data center in Turkey, capable of withstanding earthquakes up to 9 on the Richter scale.
- It has a capacity of 16 MW.
- It is equipped with a 4-level access control system.
- It has a 2N redundancy scheme to ensure uninterrupted power supply.
- It is equipped with an N+1 redundancy cooling system and backup generators.
- It is equipped with a fire suppression system using gas – NOVEC 1230.
- It complies with international standards such as SOC 1, LEED, PCI DSS, Tier III.
A cluster of 7 vStack-R 2U servers, powered by high-performance Intel Xeon Gold CPUs, has been deployed in the data center. Each physical server supports configurations of up to 16 CPUs and 128 GB of RAM.
To create a VPS in Turkey, follow these steps
- Go to the Serverspace control panel on the website.
- Start creating a VM and select the desired resource specifications.
- Choose the Istanbul, Turkey data center.
- Configure the remaining server configuration resources.
- Click on the "Create" button.
The virtual server in Turkey will be deployed within 40 seconds.
The new location is also available for creating servers, configuring networks and gateways, ordering Custom Servers and Kubernetes clusters.
