Launched: Web Application Firewall
We’ve added a new service to strengthen web application security — Web Application Firewall (WAF). It’s available right inside the Serverspace control panel under the СDN section and complements content acceleration with the ability to filter malicious traffic.
According to the Akamai State of Apps and АРI Security 2025 report, attacks on web apps and APIs grew by 33% in 2025, surpassing 311 billion incidents. The main targets remain the classics — SQL injections, XSS, CSRF, and other OWASP Top 10 threats.
With this update, Serverspace covers two key needs of web applications: faster performance through CDN and protection from the most common attacks with WAF. Enabling WAF takes just a few minutes and doesn’t require complex setup. Once active, traffic is filtered through predefined security rules, reducing server load and blocking suspicious requests.

- Protection against OWASP Top 10 attacks (SQL injections, XSS, CSRF, and more);
- Malicious traffic filtering before it reaches your servers;

Pricing is straightforward: billing is done per 10,000 requests, making costs transparent and easy to control.
