What’s happening in Amsterdam and what comes next

Hello!
We want to explain openly what is currently happening with our Amsterdam location and what to expect next.
What happened
You have probably already seen the news: local authorities disconnected the equipment of our partner in Amsterdam, ITGLOBAL.COM NL B.V., from the power supply. At the moment, there is no access to the servers. We do not yet know when access will be restored — or whether it will be restored at all.
Throughout the past week, our engineers have been helping customers restore their projects from backups in other locations. If you have not migrated yet or something is still not working, please contact Serverspace Support, and we will help.
If your servers were in Amsterdam
You can move to any available location that works for you. We will cover the first month there. If the new location is more expensive, we will also cover the price difference for the first month.
Just contact Serverspace Support.
If you are in the US or Canada
There is no need to worry: servers in these locations are operating as usual, and you do not need to take any action.
To make sure the situation in Europe does not affect these locations, we are currently transferring their management to local operators. Going forward, in NATO countries we plan to work only with local partners to reduce infrastructure-related risks. We will share a separate update once the transition is complete.
As a precaution, we recommend setting up backups if you have not already done so. And if you would prefer to move your infrastructure to another country, we can help with the migration.
Thank you for staying with us.
